What is Coaching
Simply put, coaching takes you from where you are now to where you want to be.
It doesn’t dwell on the past like counselling or therapy. Instead, coaching is future-focused. It is a structured, creative and thought-provoking process – it’s all about setting goals, taking action, and creating real change in your life.
Think of coaching like a road trip: you identify your destination and your coach plays the role of ‘sat nav’ to help you get there!
Throughout your journey, coaching will help you to uncover what’s holding you back, identify your values and strengths and ultimately unlock your potential.
In reality, this means:
I meet with you on a 1-1 basis, either in person or via Zoom.
We will work together, usually over a period of 3-6 months, having sessions every 2 or 3 weeks. I offer packages of varying duration to meet clients’ needs, however I usually recommend a minimum of 6 sessions.
I will create a safe space for you to focus completely on you. A space without judgement, where you can reflect, reconnect and focus on yourself and your life, where you will feel comfortable to talk freely about yourself, feel supported and empowered to take your control back.
My coaching style blends my own intuition and experience with thought-provoking questions, reflection, gently sharing observations, the best coaching resources and post-session assignments.
